Intelligence for aging biology

Aging Biotech connects companies, capital and research. Use it to build a company shortlist, understand an investor’s recorded portfolio, or trace a therapeutic program through the available evidence.

Start with a question

Explore companies by research area, clinical stage, location or reported funding. Open an investor to see its recorded portfolio and source dates. Select up to four records to compare them, or use Ask to investigate a question across the directory.

The sidebar groups research and capital, the wider ecosystem, reference material and background context. Each record has a link you can share. Filtered views can be exported to CSV or Excel and imported into Google Sheets.

Read the dates with the data

Records combine curated directory information and dated source material. A portfolio entry describes an investment recorded in that source; it does not establish a current holding, a new deal or an investor’s present mandate.

Where a source date is available, it appears with the record or portfolio entry. “Source date not recorded” means that the underlying evidence has no recorded date. A recent database edit is not evidence that every field has been checked again.

Funding totals are reported amounts in US-dollar millions. Unknown values appear as a dash. They are not zero. Stage labels and research categories reflect the source records and may need reconciliation before comparing companies.

From records to a useful answer

Ask searches the directory and its recorded relationships, then links its answers to supporting records. It can help surface competitors, portfolio overlap and diligence gaps. Open the cited records to inspect the evidence and dates behind an answer.

Coverage is uneven: a missing investor relationship, clinical result or funding round means the directory does not currently record it. Company intelligence becomes more useful when those gaps are made explicit.

Research frameworks

The taxonomy crosswalk connects research areas with SENS damage types, the Hallmarks of Aging and the Seven Pillars of Aging. Framework versions are kept separate so their categories can be compared.
